There is something deeply satisfying about walking into a kitchen that feels entirely new — without the upheaval, the mess, and the eye-watering cost of a full replacement. At Bespoke Spraying Solutions, that is exactly what we do. We deliver professional kitchen respray services across Galway, Mayo, Westmeath, Clare, and Limerick — transforming dated, tired kitchens into beautiful, modern spaces with minimal disruption to your home and your family.

Based in Athenry, Co. Galway, we are the kitchen respray company, Galway homeowners trust for results that last. Whether you are in Galway city, Tuam, Ballinasloe, Athenry, or the surrounding areas, we bring the same uncompromising standard to every project. Our reputation has been built on honest craftsmanship, meticulous attention to detail, and a genuine care for every client we work with.

We are proud to be led by Dermot O’Kelly — Ireland’s only qualified spraying instructor, a City and Guilds accredited professional trained at the renowned Painttech Training Academy in the UK, and the winner of the Irish Enterprise Award 2024. With over 140 five-star reviews — more than any other spraying company on the island — you can book with complete confidence that your home is in the very best hands.

If your kitchen units are structurally sound, a professional kitchen respray is one of the most transformative investments you can make in your home. The results are dramatic, the disruption is minimal, and the finish — when done properly — is indistinguishable from new.

Here is why discerning homeowners across Galway and the west of Ireland are choosing to respray rather than replace:

A finish that genuinely lasts: We use premium water-based, low VOC paints rigorously tested across 16 manufacturers for adhesion, durability, and long-term performance. Every job is backed by our three-year workmanship warranty. This is not a cosmetic shortcut — it is a professional result built to endure.

Minimal disruption to your home: There is no need to empty your presses, and in most cases you will be without your kitchen for one evening only. We work around your life, not the other way around. Your kitchen carcass is sprayed in-home and completed generally, by lunchtime on day three. Your doors are processed in our dedicated workshop — a controlled environment with dust extraction and inspection lighting — and carefully rehung on days five and six.

Thousands of colour choices: Matt at 15% sheen, satin at 30% sheen, and thousands of colours. We guide every client through the selection process at their colour consultation to ensure the result is exactly what they envisioned.

Environmentally responsible: Our water-based paints are low in VOCs — better for your family and better for the environment.

Outstanding value without compromise: A full kitchen replacement can run to tens of thousands of euro. A professional kitchen painting service in Galway delivers a transformation of equal impact — without the cost, the mess, or the months of disruption. When the expertise, the process, and the materials are right, the result speaks for itself.

Our Process

We have refined our kitchen respray process over many years to ensure a finish that is both beautiful and built to last. Every single step exists for a reason, and we never cut corners.

Step one — Protection: Before we begin, we carefully protect your worktops, appliances, and surrounding areas. Your home is treated with the same respect we would give our own.

Step two — Degreasing: Kitchen units accumulate grease and residue over time, even when they look clean. We use a professional degreaser to ensure every surface is thoroughly prepared and completely free of contamination before any paint is applied.

Step three — Sanding and preparation: We sand all surfaces to create the optimum key for paint adhesion. This stage is critical — proper preparation is what separates a lasting finish from one that fails.

Step four — Cleaning: After sanding, every surface is cleaned again to ensure it is completely free of dust and contamination before any paint is applied.”

Step five — Priming and filling: We apply a professional primer, fill any imperfections, and sand again. For surfaces that require it, we apply shellac to seal any tannins and prevent bleed-through.

Step six — Top coats: We apply two top coats, sanding lightly between them. Your doors are processed entirely in our dedicated workshop — a controlled environment with dust extraction, inspection lighting, and purpose-built drying racks — ensuring an exceptional, consistent finish on every surface.

Step seven — Rehang: Your doors are carefully inspected and rehanging is normally completed on days five to six. We leave your kitchen looking stunning and your home exactly as we found it.

Why Choose Bespoke Spraying Solutions?

There are a number of spraying companies operating across Ireland. Here is what makes us different.

Ireland’s only qualified spraying instructor: Dermot O’Kelly is the only spraying instructor in Ireland to hold a City and Guilds qualification, earned through training at Painttech Training Academy in the UK. That level of expertise informs every single kitchen painting job we carry out, no matter the size.

Winner of the Irish Enterprise Award 2024: We were recognised with the Irish Enterprise Award 2024 — an acknowledgement of the standards we maintain and the reputation we have built across Galway and beyond.

140+ five-star reviews: We have more five-star reviews than any other spraying company on the island of Ireland. These are real reviews from real clients across Galway, Mayo, Westmeath, Clare, and Limerick, and they reflect the pride we take in every project.

A process that has been thoroughly tested: We have tested materials from 16 different manufacturers before settling on the paints and primers we use today. Renner and Sayerlack are our preferred brands — chosen for their adhesion, flexibility, durability, and finish. You benefit directly from that investment of time and expertise.

Member of Ireland’s Kitchen Painting Network: We are handpicked members of Ireland’s Kitchen Painting Network — a partnership with strict quality standards. Membership is not automatic; it is earned.

Minimal disruption: We know that your kitchen is the heart of your home. Our workshop-based process means your doors are processed off-site, limiting the time we spend in your home. We take our lead times seriously and keep every client informed throughout.

Complete peace of mind: Every kitchen respray we complete comes backed by our three-year workmanship warranty. We use water-based, low VOC paints that are safe for your family and kind to the environment.

FAQ

How long does a kitchen respray take?

The process typically takes around five to six days in total. We spray your kitchen carcass in-home and have it completed by lunchtime on day three. Your doors are processed in our dedicated Galway workshop during this time, and rehanging is carried out on days five and six. We work efficiently and tidily throughout.

How much does a kitchen respray cost in Galway?

Every kitchen is different, so we keep the quoting process simple. We provide instructions and a short video guide on how to take the right photos of your kitchen, which you send to us via WhatsApp. We estimate from these — no home visit required at this stage. If you would like to proceed further, we can arrange a call-out at that point. Once you are happy to go ahead, a non-refundable booking fee of €150 + VAT secures your place in our schedule. Your colour consultation follows after the booking fee has been received.

What colours are available for a kitchen respray?

We offer thousands of colour options across both matt (15% sheen) and satin (30% sheen) finishes. Off-white matt is our most popular choice for kitchen painting in Galway and across the west of Ireland, but we are equally at home with bold contemporary shades, deep tones, or anything in between. We will guide you through your options at your colour consultation.

Will the finish last? What warranty do you offer?

Our kitchen respray finish is designed to stand the test of time. We use premium water-based paints from manufacturers we have personally tested for adhesion, durability, flexibility, and long-term performance. Every kitchen we spray is covered by our three-year workmanship warranty. We always advise clients to treat their sprayed kitchen in the same way they would treat their car’s paintwork — keep it clean, avoid abrasive products, and it will look excellent for many years. Chipping from impact is not covered by the warranty, as this is a physical force issue rather than a paint failure, but we do leave clients with leftover paint for any minor touch-ups should they be needed.

Do you offer kitchen respray services outside of Galway?

Yes. We cover a wide area across Ireland, including Co. Galway, Co. Mayo, Co. Westmeath, Co. Clare, and Co. Limerick — though not necessarily the full extent of each county. If you are unsure whether we cover your area, please get in touch and we will be happy to confirm.
